Why a homepage?
Why not?? No, I like it very much to read travel stories from friends or strangers and look at the pictures. It gives me ideas, thoughts and keeps me dreaming about places I want to visit... I thought I will do the same for other people, share ideas & memories!!
And for myself. Instead of grabbing out all the pics I can just look at the homeage and am with my thoughts far away again.
Why is it in english?
Mainly because I have friends all over the world. Also, I have to say, that like beeing in Australia for six months I got so much used to the english, that I wrote my diary in english and I didnt feel the wish to translate it to german afterwards...
Which places did I like best?
That's a difficult question. Every place I visited so far had something special to offer, the people, the landscape, nature... and there is no place I have seen so far which I did not like. Nevertheless I listed some of my favourite places from my last travels:
Australia:
- Broome: best ever beach parties & relaxed atmosphere
- Kimberleys: remoteness, landscape
- Whitsundays: beautiful beaches, sailing
Ecuador:
- Galapagos: fauna & flora
- Rainforest: peaceful, relaxing, nature & wildlife
New Zealand:
- North Island: East Coast, Northland
- South Island: Marlborough Sounds, Abel Tasman, Fiordland, Catlins, Otago Peninsula
